Layering With Mod Cloth for Fall 2014 by bowtiesandcaviar featuring button front tops
Layering is my favourite part of styling my outfits. Recently ModCloth asked me to put together a layered look using items from their site. Keep reading to learn more!
I love being creative with my looks and this is one that I fell in love with when I was cruising the site.
Cardigans over dresses with coats on top allow you to play with different textures and stack different colours all while keeping warm.
During chillier months, tights are a must have when sporting a cute dress, but it doesn’t have to stop there. A lot of times I find myself layering knit socks over my tights to have them peek out of my boots a little to add to the coziness of the look and to keep my toes warm as well!
Fingerless gloves that convert into mittens keep hands warm but still functional and during the Fall months, having a hat handy is a definite must-have.
Since this look is filled with layers, accessorizing with jewelry was a bit minimal. I couldn’t resist these birdcage earrings though and thought they would add to the charm without overpowering the look. Lastly this fox purse. Originally I paired this look with backpack but the fox purse caught my eye and I just had to add it!Hope you liked my layered look! How would you layer with ModCloth.com?
Also, head over to ModCloth and check out their huge selection of super cute sweaters for this season HERE! They’ve got lots to choose from, from cozy knit cardigans to fun holiday sweaters (I’ve got my eye on a t-rex holiday sweater that I might have to add to my collection).
xoxo

I love this look! I never thought to layer high socks with tights but I think I’ll try that out! Also, the earrings and purse are TOO precious. I love ModCloth tons and tons.
