I have been in love with the overalls comeback in the recent months and when I saw these 70s styled bell bottom denim overalls from Dittos, I’m not going to lie… I searched high and wide for a pair only to be crushed and find out they were sold out…

I can’t express in words how excited I was when I saw there was a pair in my size being sold by Pretty Little Fawn! When I received them I squealed with joy and instantly put them on. The fit was perfect… minus the length. Thanks to my 5’1″ height, slight pinning and tucking had to be done to the bottoms of the pant legs, and trust me, a little bit of fabric alteration wasn’t going to stop me!
Dittos denim is super soft and has just the right amount of stretch… not too much that it looks like the denim is suffering under the elastic but just enough to fit around the wearer and still drape along the body beautifully. I love that the pant legs just lay perfectly without having to pull at or adjust and the flaring at the bottom of the pantlegs give me just the right amount of Charlie’s Angels I was so desperately needing in my wardrobe!
What 70s outfit wouldn’t be complete with a floppy hat? At least that’s how I felt when I was styling all of this for my afternoon. This H&M floppy hat was a perfect pairing to the overall look as well as the shoes I picked out.
Of course I had to go with platform wedges. 1. Because platform wedges screamed 70s fabulousness and 2. I needed every extra bit of height I could get haha
Another piece I was absolutely excited about receiving in the mail was this vintage bright mint coloured gingham crop top from The Nebula Shop. I’ve been wearing a lot of Nebula stuff and I can’t get enough of the pieces I’ve collected from there over such a short period of time! Mixing actual vintage with new pieces makes everything feel that much more unique and I have to say, I’m obsessed.
How are you bringing back vintage style and repurposing pieces from decades past?
Here’s a full list of what I’ve got going on in this outfit:

Below are some shopping ideas I’ve put together that are inspired by this look! Happy Friday, and enjoy the weekend!

You cutely wore one pair of overalls with a chic pair of pumps previously. Here, you went with this groovy pair of flared overalls with a lovely cropped top. Wicked cool sandals and an equally cool hat. Also… can you be any more cute? The close-up pictures of you are lovely! Pretty smile and hairstyle. Big time style from a short lady like yourself. You look amazing!
