Presley’s got a new harness!!! Keep reading to see Presley’s new harness, why we love it and some photos from his day at the Monthly Pug Meetup with the Washington Pug Group!
So Presley’s old harness, the Spring striped harness was having a few issues. The D ring that the leash is supposed to clip onto was always falling to the side and the extra buckles and straps were beginning to bother him and cause some discomfort. After reading up on harness reviews and chatting with some of our Pug friends, we concluded that Puppia was the way to go! And for Pres, Camo was such a fitting colour!
Here’s another shot of Pres in his new harness. We got the size Large because he’s got quite the collection of neck rolls. Clearly he was not amused with me taking photos of him after his nap. The Puppia harness is really great. We’ve noticed he pulls less on the leash, has an easier time breathing and doesn’t look the least bit bothered while its on. The neck area just slides over his smushy little face and then there’s one clip at the back. The mesh material is very breathable and light and once adjusted, hugs his chest just right.
Ok time to take it out for a test drive!
First, a quick Furminator action before jumping into the car. (Last time he got into the car he left an insane amount of dog hair on the seats, they could have doubled as a new seat cover!)
Sorry for the blurriness, it was a bit bumpy on the way to the park. Here’s Presley enjoying the ride. He loves car rides!
Here we are! Shirlington Dog Park has been a park we’ve been visiting for a few years now. So far so good. The small dog area is just perfect for pugs! The following are a bunch of photos from our visit. Enjoy!
