I absolutely love floaty fabrics that allow for tons of movement. They’re girly, fun and most importantly… they’re comfortable! Keep reading to see more photos of this outfit and to check out some shopping ideas I’ve put together, inspired by this look.
This was my Sunday afternoon outfit. Whenever I have a day off I always find figuring out what to wear extra difficult, simply because I can literally wear whatever I want!
Flipping through my closet, I stopped at this ruffled/tiered/layered dress. I found this at H&M a while back and always forget its in my closet but always fall in love all over again whenever I rediscover it.
I love love love all of the layers. The colour palette gives it a sheer feel but all of the layers everything under wraps hehe. I love how flirty the fabric is and the ruffles add a flirty touch to it. The length is just right. Not too long to drown my short frame but long enough that there’s nothing to worry about.
Since I was a roll with layers theme already, I had to find something to layer on top of the already heavily tiered dress… since it was warm I opted for a sleeveless denim vest. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be living in denim vests all summer. This one is an affordable vest I found at Target!
I had to top this outfit off with one of my favorite hats, my brown Grenadier Henry Jones hat from my favorite hat shop, Goorin Bros . I recently bought another Henry Jones fedora but in black. I’m hoping they come out with a gray version as well as a cream version. Structured outback hats have become my biggest vice.
To finish off the outfit, I threw on a pair of fringe ankle boots. Here’s everything I’m wearing:
- Grenadier Henry Jones Outback Fedora (Goorin Bros)
- Denim Vest (Mossimo)
- Tiered Blush Dress (H&M)
- Fringe Ankle Boots (Mossimo)
- Oversized Dual Tone Watch (Michael Kors)
- Ladybug Pendant Necklace (Tiffany & Co)
