I had been on a search for overalls for quite some time. About 3 weeks ago I stumbled upon these online and immediately ordered them. All of the previous overalls I tried made me look so wide around the hips but these were just so cute and girly! Overalls can be a tricky thing. Growing up they were in all of our drawers. I know my mom put me in several pairs of OshKosh’s. These days, being an adult, even though the trend is back, its not as easy as just finding a pair that’s the right length. Fit plays a huge part in your new overall selection.
These were great. I do want a looser fitting pair but that will be for another day. They fit like a normal pair of pants but with the overall bib and straps. They’re comfortable and fun yet still cute and flirty. Plus if I decide to wear these with the straps down, they’ll stay up without the need for a belt or constant pulling at.
To complete the ‘girly’ look I was going for, I cuffed the pant legs of my overalls (like I have been doing with everything lately) and paired the with a pair of red sling backs. I felt they went well to give it a little bit of that pin-up look.
These shoes have been on my shelf for quite some time now. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to take them for a spin. Also, they’re incredibly comfortable to wear all day believe it or not.
Here’s what I’m wearing:
- White Bandana (Michael’s)
- Pug 3/4 Sleeve Shirt (Stradavarius)
- Denim Overalls (H&M)
- Red Slingback Pumps (Steve Madden)
- Ladybug Pendant Necklace (Tiffany & Co.)
- Oversized Dual Tone Watch (Michael Kors)
