Spring can be unpredictable. Sometimes cold mornings can turn into hot days and warm days can end with chilly nights. Dressing to keep up with both ends doesn’t have to be awkward or difficult. Keep reading to check out more photos of this outfit and shopping ideas inspired by this look!
On normal days I gravitate towards “comfortable” and that’s exactly what I did here. With as many sneakers as I own, I am a boot girl through and through. I will find any reason to buy them, wear them, collect them and each one is special in their own way. This pair featured in this outfit is from RocketDog. When I saw these, I knew they belonged on my shelf. I’ve had them for years and with age, wear and having been conditioned with leather oil, they’ve only gotten more amazing (and comfortable)!
Continuing on with my ‘comfortable’ choice in outfits for running my errands, I’ve grown quite fond of Fjållraven in the past year and love love love their Kanken daypacks. Wearing a backpack around instead of a purse is so great for being on the go and doing things like grocery shopping and what not when you need both hands free. It also comes in handy when I need to tote an umbrella or need a place to store my sweater when the weather starts to warm up.
This sweater is from American Apparel and it’s extremely cozy! A loosely knitted fabric, it’s actually quite light. The 3/4 bat-wing sleeves allow for plenty of breath-ability so you don’t get too hot but its over-sized draping definitely keeps you nice and warm when you need it. It was definitely perfect for the ‘warm in the sun/chilly in the shade’ weather we’ve been having.
Underneath my massive draped sweater is a plain white t-shirt and distressed cut-off shorts. Here’s a breakdown of the entire outfit:
- Henry Jones Fedora (Grenadier)
- Kanken Daypack (Fjållraven)
- Turkish coin necklace (F21)
- Bouclé Shawl Cardigan (American Apparel)
- White Boyfriend T-Shirt (Mossimo)
- Distressed Shorts (H&M)
- Brown Leather Cowhide Boots (RocketDog)
And of course Mister Presley Pug!
