So I guess since this is a ‘fashion/lifestyle’ blog, at some point I would have to start posting photos of my actual outfits. Recently I wrote a blog post about bringing cobalt into your spring wardrobe. Here’s how I mixed it in 🙂 Keep reading to see how you can recreate this look.
Mind the creases in my shift dress, I took this photo in the late afternoon after I spent the morning running several errands and carrying a bunch of stuff into the house 😀 I found this great turkish coin necklace at Forever 21 and have been wanting to wear it with everything lately. Its on the heavier side but I’ve been in love with gypsy everything that I couldn’t resist… I picked it up in an antique gold color as well.
The fedora, I picked up from H&M a few seasons ago and the jacket is the Belvedere biker jacket from All Saints. I love their leathers and the UK sizing seems to always fit me perfectly (I have narrow shoulders and its usually pretty hard for me to find well fitting jackets). The dress I’m wearing here was given to me a few years ago as a Christmas present. I knew there was a reason why I kept it in my closet 😉 My purse is a Phillip Lim mini satchel from his Target collaboration. It was such a great deal and is so useful. Its small but goes with everything and is awesome for those nights out where I don’t want to carry a huge purse. And lastly, my shoes are by Jeffrey Campbell. I bought these a year and a half ago. They’re called ‘see stars’. I think the model has been discontinued, and sadly I don’t find myself wearing these too often but I love them just because the massive star studs make them so unique. Here’s a better shot of them:
Since most of the items in my outfit are things that have been a part of my closet for quite some time, I have put together a little look-collage of similar things that you could pair together to recreate this look:

So how have you or how are you planning on incorporating cobalt in your wardrobe?
