This past weekend Jack Rose (2007 18th St, NW, Washington DC 20009) and its sister bar, Bourbon (2321 18th St. NW, Washington DC 20009) celebrated Belgian Independence Day by featuring a combined 40 Belgian Beers on tap.

So, what better way to spend our Sunday afternoon but by participating in Jack Rose’s/Bourbon’s Belgian Passport Program, in which the first 30 people to drink every beer from one brewery wins a tshirt… This was easily accomplished!  But for the big challenge, to have tried all 40 of Nahem’s selected beers on tap.

Several hours later, lots of conversations with friends and bouncing from one location to another… oh and not to mention all the snacks we ordered… the four of us had successfully gone through all 40!

After getting through all 40 beers we were awarded with these gigantic bottles of beer and the best part, made several new friends at Jack Rose! Hope everyone had a great Belgian Independence Day!!!
